Therapy for Chronic Pain Using Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT)
You’ve tried everything—doctors, physical therapy, maybe even surgery. Still, the pain lingers.
You're not making it up.
You're not broken.
But there might be more going on than just what's happening in your body.
If you’re living with chronic pain, and nothing seems to help, it might be time to try something different—something that looks at the nervous system, your brain, and your story.
I Believe You. Your Pain is Real.
I’ve been through chronic pain myself, and it led me to dive deep into brain science and get trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). I combine that with my training in Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal approaches—ways of helping the nervous system feel safe and regulated again. The best part? These tools have helped me feel better, too. Now I help others find relief and reconnect with their bodies, so you can get back to living your life.
Pain Reprocessing Therapy is an evidence-based mind-body approach that helps people reduce or even eliminate chronic pain by rewiring the brain’s pain pathways. It’s grounded in neuroscience, and it's surprisingly empowering.
Here’s the gist:
Sometimes, the brain gets stuck in a loop, interpreting signals in the body as dangerous—and sounding the pain alarm when it is not needed. PRT helps teach the brain that you’re safe now, and it can turn the volume down on pain.
Somatic Experiencing (SE) helps your body release stress, trauma, tension, and built up emotions that may have been stuck for years. It’s a gentle way to work with your nervous system—so you feel more connected, grounded, alive, and at ease in your body.
Build Trust in Your Body, Find Strength in Connection.
Together we will:
Understand why the pain is happening (and that it’s not your fault)
Tune into your body without fear
Release old survival responses (like bracing, freezing, or overthinking)
Calm your nervous system and help you feel more at home in your body
Build real trust in your body again
If doctors have told you “everything looks normal” but you still hurt, you’re not alone. And you’re not out of options.
This work is about listening to your body, not fighting it. It’s about understanding that pain is real—and that it’s also changeable.
Whether your pain started after an injury, a stressful life event, or “out of nowhere,” we’ll explore what your nervous system needs to feel safe again.
This isn’t about pretending pain isn’t there. It’s about changing your relationship with it—and gently showing your brain that you’re not in danger anymore.
You’ve had chronic pain for 6+ months with no clear medical cause
You’ve seen specialists and gotten “normal” test results
Your symptoms change day-to-day or get worse with stress
You’re tired of fighting your body and want a new way forward
You’re open to exploring the mind-body connection
